DW Ch7 P24

Here's an early draft of the Sawtooth from my sketchbook: sawtooth I thought this design looked a bit too much like Super Mario's Piranha Plant, particularly Naval Piranha, the World Three boss in Yoshi's Island. So I made the teeth more animal-like, gave it more tangled vines, and played up those leaf veins in the petals. The final version looks like the result of cross pollinating Naval Piranha with Audrey II from Little Shop of Horrors. And I'm okay with that.
