Sorry for the delay in comics, folks. Another important project came up and I ended up putting a my usual comic time into script writing. Let's just say that a certain video game-themed musical performance is putting together that long awaited sequel. Let's also say that a profound lack of subtlety amuses me. I'll be posting the final Q and A comic on Wednesday. Hopefully, we should be back to business as usual next Monday, but Chapter Ten is becoming pretty complex and it may take some more time for me to finish storyboards and assets. I won't leave you hanging again. If the cover is not ready in a week, I'll give you a nice pin-up or something. If you have any suggestions for a pin-up, now's a good time to drop them in the comments. If I don't need suggestions for next week, I'm sure I'll get around to them sooner or later.

simple names and a relatively straightforward story is the charm that sold this comic to me, i must admit. in a world full of trope deconstructions, one yearns for a proper hero’s journey. your writing also shows that you have a very clear understanding of the tropes you use, not just surface level. every time a trope is played straight or subverted, even though a reader who has read similar stories would have a decent idea of what’s about to happen, you still manage to make it hit the right emotion. of course cloaker and lyric would join the party, it’s not even a question. everyone saw it from a mile away. but still, the writing, characters, and story are so well done i am invested even if i can predict a plot outcome. it is a testament of both your skill as a storyteller and your love for making draconis wicked. i enjoy your comic a lot <3
