      Thanks. From the start, I wanted Fabelore to seem sort of like “Camelot as a cautionary tale.” It was a wonderful society, except everything depended on always having a good leader, and that’s not something anyone can guarantee forever.

        tbh any system will fail sooner or later, but when it depends on just one guy, yeah. when he’s gone without an heir, and it doesn’t even need to be a blood relative, there will be chaos
