    i’m really happy with how the two of them get along. they are unlikely friends, but that makes it work <3 also i wasn't reading for a few pages again and i just want to say it's astounding how poor the islanders are at managing human resources. nobody could do the task they were given but i am 10000% sure they would've been good or amazing at something else xD

      Thanks, I’m glad the friendships seems so natural. As for island life, I see this as kind of a “settling in” period. Draconis and his friends haven’t learned about the island and the islanders don’t know the newcomer’s skill sets. I’m sure they’d all figure it out in time, but instead, they’re about to be interrupted by plot.
