December’s Challenge

The December days of the Full Moon Art Challenge fall on December 25th, 26th and 27th, with the actual full moon rising on December 26th.

The Oak Moon at Christmas

This is it! The last moon of 2023! I’ve managed to make an animated scene for every one of them! 100% completion!

Oak trees are used as signs of strength and good fortune in many European cultures. Ending the year with a strong, ancient tree feels right somehow. We’re all a little older, but, in many ways, we’re growing stronger too.

Oak trees are often the last trees to lose their leaves, sometimes refusing to drop all of them until well into winter. If you still have a little coverage in your trees, there might be an oak to thank.
